2022 African Championships: Algeria with 14 athletes
The African Athletics Championships start this Wednesday, June 8
The African Athletics Championships start this Wednesday, June 8 in Mauritius. Many African countries then bet on their best performers to hope to win a medal. This is the case of Algeria which will count on 14 athletes including 11 men and 3 women. They are Amine Bouanani (110m/hurdles), Abdelmalik Lahoulou (400m/hurdles), Hicham Bouhanoune (High jump). Abdelmoumène Bourakba (discus throw), Oussama Khennoussi (discus throw), Slimane Moula (800m) are also selected. Just like Ramzi Abdenouz (800m). Hicham Cherabi (Pole), Amar Rouana (Pole), Mohamed-Tahar Yasser Triki (Triple jump), and Larbi Bourrada (Decathlon).
Among the ladies, Souad Azzi will be aligned on the 20 kilometer/walk. While Zahra Tatar – Zouina Bouzebra, will be in the hammer throw.
