Liverpool won against Newcastle (3-1), this Thursday, December 16 on behalf of the 17th day of the Premier League. And the Reds could still count on Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian has indeed scored his club’s second goal (25th).

This is also his 15th achievement of the season in the Premier league. Which makes him the second player in the English league after Jamie Vardy to score in 15 games in a row.

That’s not all. Salah becomes the first Liverpool player to score against Newcastle in five consecutive seasons.

The other two goals for Liverpool are scored by Diego Jota (21st) and Alexandre Arnold. The Reds (40 pts) retain their second place in the standings one point behind the leader, Manchester City.
