Rassie Eramus is suspended by World Rugby from all rugby-related activities for two months. The sentence fell on Wednesday, November 17. The director of South African rugby is sanctioned for remarks “insulting, insulting” towards the referees.
He had indeed criticized the arbitration during the defeat of the Springboks against the British and Irish lions. The South African federation was fined 24,000 euros. SA rugby and Eramus intend to appeal.
