Mamelodi Sundowns South Africans take good option for CAF Women’s Champions League semi-finals
The clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and Rivers Angels has kept all its promises. The two teams faced each other on Tuesday, November 9, for the second day of Group B of the African Women’s Champions League . The South Africans finally win (1-0). They also took the advantage in the 17th minute with a goal from Zanele Nhlapho.
The Mamelodi Sundowns take the lead in Pool B with six points and move closer to the semi-finals. The Kenyans of Vihiga Queens are reviving in this group after their victory over the Moroccan women of AS FAR (2-0). Rivers Angels, on the other hand, made it more difficult after this second setback. The Nigerians are thus moving away from the semi-finals.
