I must say that the result of the first leg gave us hope. Everyone is focused and happy. And then, we will travel in good conditions. On this particular point, I would like to thank the leaders. They have everything in place for the team. The trip was prepared on a very good basis, more than adequate for the team. Both in terms of the flight lines chosen, and for hotels. It is very important for the performance of the team.
How did you prepare for this match?
We did our preparation before the first leg. For the moment we are in the correction of the shortcomings noted during the meeting. We will recover the injured players. There were no serious injuries. Today they are all doing well. We’re ready for this match. The strategy is ready, we have carefully analyzed our errors, and we are in the process of correcting them.
Is a victory possible in Tunis?
We will face the opponent on Saturday in Tunis to achieve a good result. As you know, we have no pressure, we will play to qualify, we will play to win.
What message for your supporters?
We will play for them, to win. We are really going to play for the pride of our team and the country. The team will give it their all to come out of this game with their heads held high. My players are ready. I promise victory to our supporters. We are going to make our opponent suffer, that’s for sure. Our cohesion will help us get there. The men of the APR FC have shown here in Kigali that they are capable of creating a surprise.
