Uganda coach Milutin Sredojevic guilty of sexual assault


The coach of the Uganda national team is found guilty of sexual assault on Tuesday, October 19, in a court in South Africa. The Serb was sentenced to five years in prison. Sredojevic however remains at the head of the skulls.

Uganda coach Milutin Sredojevic pinned over sexual assault case . The Serbian technician is found guilty of two counts. He was sentenced to five years in prison on Tuesday, October 19, by the court in Gqeberha, South Africa.

The facts took place in December 2020 during the Cosafa Cup under 20. Milutin Sredojevic was then coach of Zambia and attending the tournament. He allegedly made inappropriate comments about a 39-year-old waitress.

“A woman was serving coffee at Wolfson Stadium when she asked Sredojevic if he would need sugar with his coffee. He answered no and added that he needed a different kind of sugar, showing his private parts ”, the court press release read. 


The latter reveals that “Micho”, as the coach is called, would have touched the waitress inappropriately.

The Serb, who continues to claim his innocence, intends to appeal.

Despite this situation, Srevdojevic retains his post as Uganda coach. “Srevdojevic’s private case is closed for the time being. The coach will return to resume his duties as a result, ” the Ugandan Football Federation said in a statement. 

The Serbian will lead the Ugandan selection to the third and fourth days of qualifying for the 2022 World Cup.
