2022 World Cup: Mali – Rwanda relocated to Morocco
CAF’s decision not to approve certain African stadiums is already having an impact. Many of the matches on the first day of qualifying for the 2022 World Cup are relocated. This is the case with the meeting between Mali and Rwanda. Initially scheduled for the March 26 stadium in Bamako, it will however be played in Morocco.
According to a press release from the Malian Football Federation published this Thursday, August 12, 2021, Les Aigles will therefore have to receive … outside at the Grand Stade d’Agadir. Depriving the blow of their supporters, the warm atmosphere of the stadium on March 26.
The match will kick off on September 3 from 17:00 GMT.
