The performances of the 32-year-old sprinter, finalist in the 100m and 200m women, are hailed by the authorities of the country. Moreover, she was even rewarded by the Ivorian government.
Back from Tokyo, Marie-Josée Ta Lou then received a check for 7,623 euros from Françoiws Albert Amichia, the Ivorian Minister of Sports. An amount of encouragement following her bravery she showed in Tokyo.
