Burkina: Lassina Sawadogo appointed coach of the Shooting Star
Most successful club in Burkina Faso with ASFA Yennenga (13 titles) , Étoile Filante de Ouagadougou (EFO) has a new coach. This is Lassina Sawadogo who replaces Lacina Koné.
The latter only remained in post for five months. Lassina Sawadogo will have the heavy mission of winning a new league title, the last of which dates back to 2014,
Sawadogo has already coached several clubs in Burkina Faso, including RC du Kadiogo and ASFA. The Shooting Star saw the birth of several players who subsequently had a brilliant career in Europe.
We can mention among them, Charles Kaboré, the captain of the Stallions , currently free since the end of his contract at Dynamo Moscow (Russia). There is also Bakary Koné, passed through Lyon and Strasbourg and now in India.
Or Alban Lafont, the goalkeeper of FC Nantes and French international in all categories of young people.
