Rwanda: women’s football resumes on July 31

Good news for Rwanda’s women’s teams  . The Football Federation announces the resumption of the championship on July 31.  After a one-year hiatus, the women’s teams have therefore received the green light to resume football. “The Rwandan Football Federation has decided that the Women’s Football League begins on July 31, 2021”  , informs a statement from the body, published on Sunday. The first and second divisions are concerned. But before going down again on the grounds, the clubs are invited to re-affiliate.

Unlike the men’s league where players will be in a closed group throughout the season. On the other hand, for the women’s league, players will be allowed to return home after each day of the championship.

Ten teams are expected to participate in this season. The succession of Scandinavia is thus open  . This training had won the title of champion during the 2018-2019 season, since the 2019-2020 exercise was canceled because of the Covid-19
