The elections to the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF) are fast approaching. While waiting for a database to be set up by the Standardization Committee (CN-FIF), a concept called “Ground ball” is set in motion to advocate peace. The three candidates, Sory Diabaté, Yacine Idriss Diallo and Didier Drogba are committed to the spirit of appeasement in the electoral process of the FIF. They made it known in chorus on Monday. For Yacine Idriss Diallo, former Vice-President of the FIF under Jacques Anouma, he says he is “available for everything that is unification and pacification of Ivorian football”.

The pass made, Didier Drogba continues with enchanting control. “The priority is that the ball must roll to appease. I am a candidate for the Ivorian Football Federation. And as you know, in the word Federation, there is the word federate. I want to be President, not for me. But, for gamers. When I was approached by the initiators of the concept, I did not hesitate. As ambassador for peace and son of Côte d’Ivoire, this election was at the heart of all debates because of me. I therefore support the idea of the “Ball on the ground” concept . See you in November … ”, supports the icon of Ivorian football.

The same commitment also drives Sory Diabaté: “I joined the“ Ball on the ground ” concept , because having been an actor for 18 years at the FIF. Beyond words, this meeting must make it possible to appease. For three years, we have experienced turbulence in the house. I would like to invite everyone to cultivate certain values. Namely respect, tolerance and responsibility ”, said the outgoing 1st Vice-President of the FIF.

Anne-Marie Nguessan Coulibaly , sports journalist at RTI, also President of the National Union of Sports Journalists of Côte d’Ivoire. And Frédéric Kouadio Konan, Director of Communication of the FIF, are the initiators of the “Ball on the ground” concept
