The Equatorial Guinean Football Federation (Feguifut) is organizing the “7M Tournament” next June, in tribute to the victims of the ammunition explosion at the Nkoantoma military camp in Bata on March 7. That day four explosions had killed more than 120 people, including children and infants, and more than 600 injured.
Thirty teams from the Equatorial Guinean championship will compete. La Feguifut indicates that the funds thus generated will be donated to the families of the victims and to the victims of these terrible events which have grieved the country.
This tournament will help to make up for the suspension of the national championship decided by the new administration of Feguifut, while waiting to bring order to the body which is entangled in embezzlement scandals.
