Friendly-Ivory Coast: four novices among the 25 Elephants for Burkina and Ghana
Of the 25 Elephants selected for the two matches of Côte d’Ivoire, against Burkina Faso and Ghana, next June, four are novices.

The selection of Côte d’Ivoire will deliver two friendlies during the next FIFA window (May 31 to June 15). She will face Burkina Faso, Saturday June 5 at the Ebimpé stadium (Abidjan suburb), before rubbing shoulders in Ghana, a week later, on the 12th, in Cape Coast (165 km from Accra, Ghanaian capital).
In view of these meetings, the national coach, Patrice Beaumelle, unveiled, this Thursday, May 20 at the headquarters of the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF), a list of 25 players. The group includes four novices: Wilfried Singo (Torino, Italy), Hassane Kamara (OGC Nice), Serge Aka (Ei Gouna, Egypt) and Hamed Junior Traoré (Sassuolo, Italy) join the selection indeed for the first time.

In the latest FIFA ranking, Côte d’Ivoire (59th) is placed just ahead of Burkina Faso (60th) and ten lengths behind Ghana (49th).
