Malawi women’s national coach Macnerbert Kazuwa has released a list of 30 players. The Malawians are in fact preparing for the qualifications of the Women’s CAN Morocco 2022. Of the 30 players called, five play abroad in particular. They are Captain Tabitha Chawing and her sister Temwa (China), Chimwemwe Madise and Patricia Nyirenda are playing in Zambia, while Lughano Nyondo is working on his weapons in the United States.

The Scorchers will join their training camp this Sunday. Malawi dreams of taking part in a CAN finals for the first time in its history.

A task that promises to be difficult as they face the Copper Queens of Zambia for their first match on June 7 at home. Before then joining Lusaka, a week later. Zambia is, moreover, the only African country qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
