OGC Nice’s Franco-Algerian Amin Gouiri is in the hunt for the title of best hope in Ligue 1. This season, the young striker (21) has scored 16 goals and delivered 5 assists in 37 matches. Recently contacted by Djamel Belmadi to wear the Algeria jersey, he reserves his answer.

Two other Africans are nominated for the 2020-2021 UNFP Trophies. They are attackers, play in Ligue 2 and in the same club, Clermont Foot, second in the standings three days from the end of the championship and therefore close to climbing to Ligue 1. They are the Guinean Mohamed Bayo and the Gabonese Jim Allevinah , in the race for the trophy for best player in Ligue 2.

The first, aged 22, is the current top scorer in Ligue 2. He has scored 21 goals for 6 assists in 37 matches. Last March, he gave his agreement to play in the jersey of Sily of Guinea.

The second, 26, has played the same number of meetings. He found the net 12 times and gave 6 balls converted into goals.
