Champion Al Ahly won ahead Simba (1-0), at the 6 th and final day of Group A of the AFC Cup.

Simba remained on 4 wins and 1 draw in his last 5 matches. But the Tanzanian club fell to defending champion Al Ahly, who thus takes revenge. The Egyptians lost by the same score in the first leg.

Despite this setback, Simba (13 pts) finished at the top of group A. Al Ahly (11 pts) is ranked 2 nd .

Winner Al Merreikh (3-1), Vita Club (7 pts) took the 3 th spot. The Congolese must have regrets for missing the quarter-finals.
