Togo: the contract of the new coach Nibombé Daré made official
The Togolese Football Federation (FTF) made official on Friday, August 16, 2024, the contract of the new coach of the Togo Hawks, Nibombé Daré, who succeeds the Portuguese technician, Paulo Duarte , whose departure was confirmed last June.
Former Togo national team defender Nibombé Daré has signed a three-year contract with the following major objectives: qualifying the Hawks for the African Cup of Nations, CAN Morocco 2025, and achieving an honourable performance in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The now former coach of the Royal Francs Borains Espoirs team in Belgium has a UEFA Pro license. Previously, Nibombé Daré coached the U15 and U18 teams of Sporting Charleroi, the U21 teams of AFC Tubize. He also held the position of assistant coach of Le Mons.
Nibombé Daré will be on the bench of the Togo Hawks for the next matches of the qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations, CAN Morocco 2025 in September 2024, against Liberia, on September 6 at the Kégué stadium in Lomé from 4 p.m. GMT and Equatorial Guinea, on September 9 at the Estadio de Malabo, from 4 p.m. GMT.
