World Cup 2022-DRC: Christian Luyindama apologizes to the Congolese

Very reserved since the non-qualification of the DRC for the 2022 World Cup, Christian Luyindama is finally breaking his silence. The former Galatasaray defender made a name for himself via a post on his Facebook page, asking the Congolese people for forgiveness.
” Silence speaks to those who know how to listen,” they say. I come back to you, Congolese people, on behalf of the whole team, to apologize, wrote Christian Luyindama. Playing the World Cup in Qatar was a dream for everyone; unfortunately the disappointment is very great.
Thanks to your remarks, criticisms and suggestions, I have learned from my mistakes and I am improving to come back very strong. I love the DRC and its people. Thank you. »
Christian Luyindama has been harshly criticized by the Congolese public who consider him one of the main responsible for the debacle of the DRC against Morocco during the second leg of the play-offs in Casablanca.
The Leopards were crushed by the Atlas lions (4-0) at the Mohamed V stadium. To show their anger, some supporters ransacked his house in Kinshasa.
