Moroccans will continue preparing for CAN 2022 to be held in the Cherifian Kingdom next July (July 2-23). The Atlas Lionesses will play two friendly matches during this month, the first will be against Malta on February 19 and the second against Moldova three days later. These matches will take place at the Tony Bezzina Stadium in Paola, Malta.
Reynald Pedros’ proteges still have four months to sharpen their weapons. They recently dominated Senegal in friendly (2-0) after losing against Spain (3-0). For these two meetings, the coach should keep the same frame that is starting to emerge.
For the next CAN, Morocco intends to continue its evolution and compete with the best African selections. The Atlas Lionesses are also counting on several players playing in European clubs to consolidate the selection.
