Arab Cup: Oman eliminates Somalia (2-1)

The Oman team qualified for the group stage of the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup by dominating (2-1) Somalia in Doha on Sunday, June 20. The competition will take place from November 30 to December 18 in Qatar.

Omani goals were scored by Mushen Al-Ghassani (11th) and Salaah Al-Yahyaei (35th, penalty). The Somalis reduced the score (55th) thanks to Abel Gigli , the Rimini striker (Italy / Serie D).

Thanks to this victory, Oman joins in Group A Qatar, Iraq and the future winner of Bahrain-Kuwait, scheduled for June 25
