France (35th day): the Africans of Metz torpedo Dijon

Italy (34 th day): Hakimi champion with Inter Milan

Moroccan Achraf Hakimi can always tell his descendants that a Saturday in May 2021, he scored one of Inter Milan’s two goals on a coronation day. The Lombard club won (2-0) at Crotone, and Hakimi, by scoring in the last moments against the red lantern, helped to give even more shine to the title after which Inter had been chasing since 2010.

The team led by Antonio Conte can no longer be joined by Atalanta Bergamo or Juventus Turin, four days from the end. In the fight for European places, Naples (5 th ) lost two important points at home against Cagliari (1-1), despite the opening scoring by Nigerian Victor Osimhen.

Netherlands (31 th day): Haller striker, Ajax champion

Unsurprisingly, Ajax Amsterdam became champion of the Netherlands, three days before the end of the Eredivisie, thanks to a large success against FC Emmen (4-0). Ivorian international Sébastien Haller, recruited during the winter transfer window at West Ham United (England), scored a new goal with the Lancers. This title is the 35 th in the club’s history.

Eliminated from the Europa League, Ajax will now try to exceed the bar of 100 league goals this season. He has already scored 93, and this goal seems perfectly attainable, given the firepower of the Ajaccide attack. Eighteenth and last in the standings, The Hague beat Feyenoord Rotterdam, thanks in particular to a brace from Moroccan Abdenasser El Khayati.

Portugal (30 th day): Sporting thanked his African

By dominating the Nacional (2-0), Sporting Lisbon took another step towards the title of champion of Portugal. The Lisbon club relied on Moroccan Zouhair Feddal and Cape Verdean Jovane Cabral to dominate the islanders. Maritimo Funchal (12 th ) obtained a precious success in the fight for maintenance against Sporting Braga (1-0) thanks to a goal from Cameroonian Joël Tagueu.

Luxembourg: a hat-trick for Maazou

The Nigerian Moussa Maazou, once again stood out, during the great success of the Esch Youth (6th), on the lawn of the UNA Strassen (5-0). The attacker has indeed scored a hat-trick in less than a quarter of an hour (26, 35 th , 39 th ). The leader, Fola Esch, lost at home to Mondorf-les-Bains, despite a brace from Moroccan Zachary Hadji. The Malagasy Hakim Abdallah meanwhile offered three precious points to Swift Hespérange (2 nd ) against Victoria Rosport (1-0).

And elsewhere…

In Belgium , where the play-offs are now played, Genk (2 nd ) won on the field of Royal Antwerp (3-2), thanks in particular to a goal by the inevitable Nigerian Paul Onuachu. Standard Liège fell heavily in Ostend (2-6), despite an achievement by Congolese Jackson Muleka. At the 7 th day of the championship Belarus , Cameroon Gaby Kiki offered Rukh Brest face a success Slavia Mozyr, allowing his team to grab fifth place. In Russia (18 th day), the Burkinabe Mohamed Konate scored the only goal of the match between FC Khimki (8 th ) and FC Ural. In Israel (32 nd ), the Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona (4e ) dominated FC Ashdod (1-0) thanks to Ghanaian Eugene Ansah.

In the Balkans, especially in Serbia (34 th day), where Red Star Belgrade is now provided a new coronation, the Congolese Luxury Mboungou scored one of three goals FK Metalac (7 th ) against RAD Belgrade (3-0). The Malawian Peter Banda, loaned by Big Bullets to Sheriff Tiraspol, once again stood out during the great success obtained by the current leader – and future champion – on the lawn of Codru (6-0), during the thirtieth act of the Championship of Moldova .

The striker Flames , who will participate hopefully CAN next year in Cameroon, signed a hat-trick in just over twenty minutes (19 th , 24, 43 th ). The Ivorian Nadrey Dago also participated in this offensive festival. Cameroonian Vitus Amougou meanwhile scored one of Milsami Orhei’s four goals (3 rd ) against Speranta (4-0).

In Switzerland (32 nd day), Servette Genève (3 rd ) brought down Young Boys Berne (2-1), thanks in particular to a goal from Ivorian Koro Koné. In northern Europe, Africans have also made a name for themselves. Thus, in Denmark (28 th day), it was the Nigerians who were highlighted. Tosin Kehinde contributed to Randers’ success against Bröndy (4-2) by scoring a goal, while his compatriot Franck Onyeka sealed the victory of FC Midtjylland, now leader, against FC Nordsjaelland (3-0). Sweden (7 th day), Sirius (2 e) was hooked by Kalmar FF (1-1), despite the opening scoring of Eritrean Mohammed Saied. Note also the double of the Ivorian Cédric Kouadio in Latvia (7 th day) on the occasion of the clear success of RFS (2 nd ) against Noah Jurmala (4-2).
