The Malian Arab Boxing Association  (AMBA) has just been born in Mali. At the end of a constitutive general assembly, an office of 12 members is thus set up. A team led by Cheick Oumar Soumano. The latter is committed to working for the promotion of Arab boxing in Mali, Africa and the world. The Malian Arab Boxing Association is affiliated with the African Federation. But also the Islands of discipline (FABA),  member of the International Federation of Arab Boxing  .

Initially scheduled for April 21 to May 1, 2021 in Moscow (Russia), the 1st edition of the Arab Boxing World Championships, called the “Russian  Grand Prix  ”, has just been postponed. It will finally be held from July 27 to August 10.  Africa will be represented  by at least 51 countries  .
