Beach volleyball: Rwanda prepares for Continental Cup
Rwanda’s women’s team wants to stamp their ticket for the Tokyo Olympics
Rwanda’s national men’s and women’s beach volleyball teams are stepping up preparations. The Rwandans will indeed take part in the second and final round of the qualifiers for the continental beach volleyball cup. The competition is notably scheduled in Morocco from June 21 to 28.
Since last week, coach Jean Paul Mana has therefore put the two selections to the test with intensive training sessions on the beach of Lake Kivu, in the district of Rubavu. “Preparations are well underway. And our only objective is to win tickets to be able to participate in the next Olympic Games of 2020 in Tokyo ”, supports coach Mana.
The continental beach volleyball cup is also a qualifier for the next Tokyo Olympics (July 23-August 8).
