CAN 2021 / Gr. K: everything is still possible
Ivory Coast, Madagascar and Ethiopia are competing for the two qualifying places for CAN 2021 in this group H. The three teams will face each other in the last two qualifiers. 4 th group, Niger will be the “referee” of these duels.
Elephants in battle orderSecond in the group, Madagascar (7 pts +10) makes a perilous trip to Ethiopia (3rd, 6 pts). The Barea must test positive in Addis Ababa to keep the Abyssinian Ibex away. In the absence of a victory, a draw could do the business of Madagascar which receives Niger on the last day. On the other hand, Ethiopia must win to hope to qualify.
The Elephants can take a step towards qualification. A victory against Niger would open the doors to Cameroon 2021 for them, if there is no winner between Ethiopia and Madagascar. The Ivorians (7 pts +1) could also play their qualification at home during the 6 th and last day against Ethiopia.
Red lantern of the group, the Mena (3 pts-7) is almost eliminated from the race. The Nigerien team must win their next two matches and count on a misstep from the other teams.
