CAN 2021: jubilation in Morocco after the historic coronation of Senegal
Senegal’s historic coronation at CAN 2021 was not celebrated only in the country of Teranga. In other big cities (Paris, Casablanca, Rabat), the Senegalese community came out in numbers to celebrate this first major Senegalese football trophy.
In Rabat, the atmosphere was just as grandiose to mark this historic date for Senegalese football. In the Moroccan capital, the police thus came out to supervise the supporters who came in large numbers to Bab Chellah. In front of the Parliament, Senegalese and Moroccans greeted in communion this first African Cup of the proteges of Aliou Cissé.
In a beautiful festive atmosphere, the Moroccans who leaned more towards the Lions of Teranga, the Senegalese and other nationals of West African countries celebrated together, some sketching dance steps during a large part of this magical evening for the Senegalese people.
