Rwanda will not be able to count on two key players in its squad. Muhire Kevin and Rwatubyaye Abdul have withdrawn from the next two days of qualifying for CAN 2021. Midfielder Muhire (Sahama, Oman),   defender Rwatubyaye (FK Shkupi, Macedonia) are selected by their clubs. This is because of health restrictions around the world.

A hard blow for Rwanda which will therefore have to do without its two executives. Even though 31 players have been selected. Red lantern of group F with only 2 points, the Rwandans face, on March 24 in Kigal i, Mozambique (2 nd , 4 points). Before going to challenge the leader, Cameroon (10 points), on March 30 in Yaoundé.
