Zambia and Namibia neutralize each other (1-1)
Zambia is qualified for the Morocco 2022 women’s AFCON . The Copper Queens have indeed won a draw against Namibia (1-1) on Tuesday, on behalf of the first legs of the second and final round of qualifying for the Women’s CAN. Trailing in the sixth minute of play, Zambia equalized in the 70th minute thanks to a goal by Siomala Mapepa.
This goal from outside allows the Zambians to compete in the next women’s CAN. They were held in check in the first leg with a goalless draw (0-0).
Zambia thus joins Senegal, Burundi, Uganda and the host of the competition, Morocco.
