CAN 2022 preparation (f): Morocco dominates Atlético de Madrid

After a heavy defeat (3-0) against the Spanish selection, the Atlas Lionesses are recovering as part of the preparation for the next Women’s African Cup scheduled for 2022 at home.
The Moroccan women’s selection has, in fact, imposed (0-1) against Atlético de Madrid, in a friendly match played Monday, October 25 in the Spanish capital. The meeting was played behind closed doors at the Wanda Alcala Henares sports center.
The Moroccan goal was scored in the 31st minute by Rosella Ayane, who plays for Tottenham (England).
The women’s Atlético de Madrid are fifth in the Spanish league with 14 points. As for the proteges of Reynald Pedros, they currently occupy the 81st place in the FIFA ranking of women’s national teams.
Morocco will host the 14th edition of the Women’s CAN from July 2 to 23, 2022 .
