CAF has unveiled the schedule for the first two days of qualifying for CAN 2023.

Qualifications for CAN 2023 start on May 29

The race for a place at CAN 2023 in Côte d’Ivoire starts on May 29 . There will be only one match on the menu for this first day: Guinea Bissau-São Tomé e Príncipe. The Lions of Senegal, reigning African champions, begin their competition on Saturday June 4 in Dakar. They welcome Benin to the Abdoulaye Wade stadium in Diamniadio. The last meeting between the two teams was won by Senegal 1-0, in the quarter-finals of CAN 2019. The first day of these qualifications will end on June 9 with a clash between Morocco and South Africa.
