CAF has unveiled the schedule for the first two days of qualifying for CAN 2023.

The race for a place at CAN 2023 in Côte d’Ivoire starts on June 1. There will be three games on the menu for this first day. The Lions of Senegal, reigning African champions, begin their competition on Saturday June 4 in Dakar. They welcome Benin to the Abdoulaye Wade stadium in Diamniadio. The last meeting between the two teams was won by Senegal 1-0, in the quarter-finals of CAN 2019. The first day of these qualifications will end on June 9 with a clash between Morocco and South Africa. Note that Kenya (chicken) and Zimbabwe (chicken K) were excluded from qualifying.
