Algeria is preparing to host the first soccer competition of the year 2023 on the African continent on the occasion of the CHAN 2022 that it will host from January 13 to February 4.

An edition that will be the first with 18 teams. Interestingly for the kick-off of the competition, the organizers can count on the presence of Gianni Infantino. The president of FIFA has responded to the invitation and will attend the opening ceremony to be held at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Baraki.
