Tanzania victorious in COSAFA Cup
Tanzania take the COSAFA Cup 2021. In the final, the Tanzanians won 1-0 over Malawi. The only goal of the meeting is the work of Enekia Lunyamila. The latter has benefited from a balloon released by the Malawian guardian to register the winning goal in the 64 th minute.
The Tanzanians thus impose themselves in a tournament where they were only invited. Tanzania is offering itself a double reward. Its captain Amina Bilali was indeed elected best player of this COSAFA Cup.
In the third place match, Zambia dominated South Africa (0-0, tab 4-3). For the first time in 9 editions, the Banyana Banyana who have 7 trophies in the competition finished outside the podium.
