Ahmed Samy resigned as coach of Smouha (5th, 27 points) after their draw (0-0) with Pharco in the Egyptian Premier League. The 49-year-old coach has been in charge of the Blues since September 2020. The technician guided Smouha to 62 games for 25 wins.

In his first season at the club, Samy led the team to fourth place, and this season he has lost just three out of 16 league matches.

Despite the good performance, Samy decided to resign from his post.
