Equatorial Guinea: the 2021-2022 season calendar unveiled
A friendly match at nuevo estadio in Malabo
The Equatorial Guinean Football Federation (FEGUIFUT) unveiled this Saturday, September 11, the calendar for the 2021-2022 season. The competition will be played in two pools of 12.
In Pool A, is housed the island part (Malabo). And In Pool B, there are the teams from the mainland (Bata).
The stadiums selected for Pool A are: Nuevo estadio Malabo, Estadio de Rebola and Estadio Lubá. While Estadio de Bata, Estadio de Mongomo, Estadio Mosum d’Ebibeyin and Estadio de Aleb will host the meetings of Pool B.
The start of the championship is scheduled for September 25th . ” Our objective is to revive football in our country, after almost two years of inactivity” , declared Juan Mañe, second vice-president of FEGUIFUT.
