Esperance Tunis: Ghanaian Khalid Basit’s contract terminated
Ghanaian Khalid Abdul Basit is no longer a player for Esperance Tunis. The champions of Tunisia 2021 have just announced on their Facebook page, the termination of the lease of the 24-year-old center-forward. “Esperance Sportif de Tunis terminates Khalid Abdul Basit’s contract. The termination was made amicably ”, posted the Directorate of Blood and Gold.
Arrived at EST on January 25, 2021, the former Macedonian club striker Makedonija had signed a 2.5-year contract.
Unfortunately, Khalid Basit did not therefore convince in the Tunisian capital.
The Accra native has scored just 2 goals and delivered just one assist in 13 league matches. In the CAF Champions League, the competition where he was most expected, his performance is also considered low. He has only found the net once in 10 games. His only achievement was against Teungueth FC in the first leg of the group matches at Radés stadium.
Former Kosovo FC Prishtina trained at Ghana’s Dreams FC. Khalid Basit had shone at KF Teuta from Albania before being recruited by Makedonija from North Macedonia
