The current president of the Guinean football federation is going through difficult times.  A few weeks before the elective congress of Feguifoot, scheduled for May 14, FIFA invited the electoral commission to re-examine Antonio Souaré’s candidacy.

The information that came out this Saturday evening surprised more than one.  No one expected to see Fifa’s grip tighten so brutally on the Guinean football boss.

Indeed, the adjudicatory chamber of the FIFA ethics committee, on the basis of information and documents received, announces that Antonio Souaré is under judgment.  The founder of Horoya AC could well be held “  guilty of violating the FIFA Code of Ethics  “. 

But FIFA leaves it to the Feguifoot electoral commission to decide whether or not to validate Antonio Souaré’s candidacy.  The Governance Commission of CAF had rejected Antonio Souaré’s candidacy for the CAF Executive Committee.  The Court of Arbitration for Sport finally cleared the Guinean leader
