In essence, he said that football is one of the tools which should contribute to the economic and social development and the improvement of the situation of many Africans, and constitute a lever to offer a better future and more dignity to many people on the African continent . It then declares support for FIFA projects. “Leaders of CAF member football associations from 54 African countries have, in past meetings, expressed their unanimous support for the hosting of the FIFA World Cup every two years, precisely because of the benefits and support that it offers to the development of Africa and all the so-called emerging countries.”
