FIFA: Issa Hayatou suspended for 1 year
The former president of the African Football Confederation (CAF, Issa Hayatou is suspended for one year.
The adjudicatory chamber of the independent FIFA Ethics Committee has imposed this sanction on him. The world body indeed accuses him of the former boss of African football, his breach of ethics in the Lagardère Sports case.
FIFA considers his signing of a contract with Lagardère Sports in September 2016, “contrary to competitive principles.
