Toni Kroos has decided to retire from international football. The German midfielder has decided to end his international career at 31 years old. The Real Madrid player has retired after 106 appearances (17 goals).
The German national team’s elimination from the UEFA EURO 2020 round of 16 (2-0) was probably the reason for this.
“I want to concentrate fully on my goals with Real Madrid for the next few years and also be there for my wife and three children,” said the former Bayern Munich player.
Kroos was with the German side that won the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil
