Ivory Coast: the two hens of Ligue 1 revealed
On March 19, the Ivorian Ligue 1 resumes after almost a year of stoppage. In the meantime, the FIF’s Standardization Committee has better defined the contours of the recovery with, in particular, the constitution of the two pools.
In pool A, we find, in fact, FC San-Pedro, ES Bafing, Africa Sports d’Abidjan, SC Gagnoa. As well as the AFAD, the USC Bassam and the ASI of Abengourou.
Racing Club d’Abidjan, Stella Club d’Adjamé, for their part, form group B. With, also, ASEC Mimosas, SOA, Bouaké FC, SOL FC d’Abobo and AS Tanda.
In addition to the pools, the Standardization Committee imposes strict compliance with barrier measures on all clubs involved. Moreover, all the teams will undergo Covid tests on the eve of their matches. 40 players can also qualify for this season.
In addition, for infrastructure, apart from the Félix Houphouët Boigny stadium , all the other stadiums will host the matches of the championship. The presence of the public is also authorized by the CNF.
