An agreement of the pilot project of  the school football championship  is signed. Indeed, the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and the government of DR Congo signed this agreement on April 7 in Kinshassa. Thus, this signature marks the start of one of the largest projects for the youngest people on the continent.

FIFA is committed to supporting the DRC in order to successfully organize inter-school tournaments. Then, the two best male and female teams will participate in the African interschool tournament  scheduled for February 2022  .

For CAF, this school championship project is of great importance for African youth. Patrice Motsepe, Fatma Samoura, the Congolese Minister of Sports, Amis Mbayo and  Constant Omar  i, were all present.
