Ivory Coast: the preparation tour of footballers in Asia canceled

Olympic selection of Côte d’Ivoire

The Ivorian Football Federation’s Normalization Committee has canceled the Olympic team’s tour of Asia. The Elephants hopes indeed had to face Japan (twice) and then South Korea.

This tour was to be held in June and was part of the preparation for the Olympics. Côte d’Ivoire is in a difficult pool with Germany, Brazil and Saudi Arabia. From now on, Côte d’Ivoire will only have one friendly match to play before the Olympics. She will face French hopes in July
