Mauritania: a busy month of june
The Mourabitounes will not be unemployed in June. French coach Corentin Martins’ players will play several friendlies, as well as the FIFA Arab Cup play-off against Yemen.
In detail, Mauritania will first challenge Algeria on June 3 in Blida. Then it will take up residence in Tunis, where two matches are scheduled: the first against the Comoros on June 8, and the second five days later, either against Guinea-Bissau – the most likely option – or against a Tunisian Ligue 1 club . These two meetings are expected to take place at El Menzah stadium.
The Mauritanians, who will face Yemen on June 22 in Qatar in the FIFA Arab Cup play-off, were approached by Djibouti, also concerned by the play-offs (on June 23 against Lebanon) , and who would like to play in a friendly in the ‘Emirate
