Namibia may be one of the last African countries to have yet to resume their football season . The players must then take their troubles patiently. Indeed, the Namibian Football Federation plans to launch the 2020/2021 exercise on April 17, to end on July 31. Just three months of competition. Especially since it is transitory. Since the Federals will start the season proper next September to end it in May 2022.

For now, teams can start registering their players . In addition, the Federation invites club presidents to set up logistical arrangements. Such as organizing training grounds, determining grounds for home games and signing player contracts.

The national body will not leave the club presidents alone. The Fédé intends, through the meeting of its Executive Committee from March 26 to 27, to grant subsidies to all teams. To help them in the preparations for the preseason.

The Namibia Premier Football League (NPFL) , the Regional Second Division Leagues and the Women’s Super League are the championships concerned for the resumption.

In addition, the MTC Cup will be contested in three rounds. The Federation has already set up a system for qualifying in three preliminary rounds. 32 teams from 14 regions will compete for tickets and then join the 12 elite clubs of the Namibian Premier League
