Ngwijuruvugo returns to his former club as a coach



In Rwanda, for 3 seasons with REG BBC and The Tigers, the Burundian coach finds his former heart club URUNANI BBC in Burundi. 


While the emblematic club of the capital held its general assembly in which new organs of the club and the new staff were presented. 

Ngwijuruvugo Patrick Richard who had shown his coaching talent with the orange ball started his young career at the same club in the lower divisions until he even joined the first team with which he was crowned several times in Burundi and internationally. 

At the controls of the women’s formation of Berco Stars by winning all the national cups on his way. In 2016, he won two major cups in the sub-region including Zone 5 clubs and Memorial Gisembe. From now on, it is very coveted by the professional basketball clubs of the sub-region. 


In 2017, he will find a precious agreement with the Rwandan giant the Rwanda Energy Group Basketball Club with which he will raise his level very exponentially. 

Added to the amateur public of the orange ball in general and particulaly for the URUNANI family, its rigor and tactical discipline. Richard is expected as the savior of this Zone5 winner club in 2014 which is embarking on a new era of cup battle.

He will be helped by his former companions of Patrick Nkurunziza advised by the former captain of the club Urunani BBC, the national team Alexis Hakizimana and alongside Kagabo Aoron, the club’s Papovic.
