Nigerian Terem Moffi crucifies Bordeaux with hat-trick

Terem Moffi was merciless with Bordeaux this Sunday in the match of the 34th day of Ligue 1. The Nigerian striker achieved his first hat-trick in France which pushes the Girondins down and allows Lorient to take 3 precious points for maintenance.

African footballers distinguished themselves this Sunday on the lawns of French Ligue 1.  But the prize is Terem Moffi.  The Nigerian striker terrorized the Girondins defenders. Indeed, after his double at the Vélodrome last week which did not prevent Lorient’s     defeat  against Marseille (2-3), the 21-year-old offers himself a hat-trick against Bordeaux.  This time, the Bretons leave with the three points of victory.

Moffi let his Congolese teammate Yoane Wissa manage the first part of the show by opening the scoring (18th).  He then started his show two minutes later to allow the Bretons to lead (2-0). And just before the break (43rd), the Nigerian scored the goal of the break (3-0).  He will conclude the festival with a hat-trick 10 minutes from the end (4-0).  Malian Issouf Cissokho still saves the honor of the Girondins in added time (4-1).

Auspicious Sunday of Africans

Despite this proven success, Lorient (17  th , 35 points) is still far from fit. Because the Bretons still feel the breath of the first relegation Nantes (18th, 31 pts).   This Sunday afternoon was also particularly sunny for the African attackers.  Besides Terem Moffi and Yoane Wissa others have distinguished themselves.  With Dijon, Yassine Benzia scored his second goal in a row in Ligue 1.

But the Dijonnais who bow heavily to Rennes (5-1) can no longer maintain.  They are effectively assured of relegation to League 2 at the end of the season.  In Bollaert, Lens dominated Nîmes (2-1) with three African goals.  Cameroonian Ganago (17th) and Malian Massadio Haidara (76th) scored Lensois goals while Algerian Zinédine Ferhat equalized for Crocos (57th).  Finally, at the beginning of the afternoon, the Algerian Hicham Boudaoui had participated in the success of Nice on Montpellier
