Nufashwa Yafasha Marks a Decade of Empowering Ngarama’s Children Through Education
This week, the halls of Ngarama echoed with a joyful celebration as the Nufashwa Yafasha organization proudly commemorated its 10th anniversary of advocating for education among underprivileged children in the community.
For a decade, Nufashwa Yafasha has been a beacon of hope, ensuring that every child in Ngarama has access to quality education. Their unwavering commitment has transformed countless lives, providing opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach.
The anniversary celebration will be celebrated this summer on the same day as the third graduation of our Early Childhood Center (Nufashwa Yafasha Organization). It will be a vibrant affair, filled with music, dance, and inspiring speeches. Nufashwa Yafasha founder, Jean Paul BUJYACYERA himself, addressed the crowd, expressing her gratitude to the community and volunteers who have been instrumental in the organization’s success.
I remember the moment like yesterday, the initiative came to my mind when I was at the University of Rwanda. “Ten years ago, we embarked on a mission to break the cycle of poverty through education,”
“Today, we stand tall, witnessing the positive impact on countless young minds. Their bright futures are a testament to the unwavering support we’ve received.”
The ceremony will highlight the organization’s achievements over the decade. From establishing free nursery schools to offering scholarships, educational resources, and a group of women. Currently, our school accommodates about 100 children every academic year, more than 10 needy students from high school got scholarships, 50 young children for football for purpose project, and more than 20 women group members.
EARNufashwa Yafasha has empowered countless children. Their dedication extends beyond academics, fostering a supportive environment that equips students with the skills and confidence to thrive.
Local dignitaries and community members lauded Nufashwa Yafasha’s contributions.
“Their dedication to education has been a cornerstone of Ngarama’s development,” said a local leader. “The empowered youth we see today are a direct result of their tireless efforts.”
The anniversary celebration wasn’t just a look back, but also a look forward. Nufashwa Yafasha unveiled ambitious plans for the future, including expanding their scholarship program and establishing a computer lab to bridge the digital divide and building the primary school level.
As Nufashwa Yafasha embarks on its next chapter, one thing remains certain: their unwavering commitment to education will continue to illuminate the path for Ngarama’s children, shaping a brighter future, one young mind at a time.
