Rugby Africa: Burundi is cheated by Cameroon.
While they had lost miserably against Burkina, the Lions of Burundi showed a very weak level while being crushed by Cameroon, with an unimaginable score of 83 goals against only 3 of Burundi.
Burundi participates in this tournament on an African scale, after a long absence in African competitions.
After the first setback against Burkina (53-0), the Intambwe coach had promised revenge against the Bourkinabés while highlighting his team’s preparation problems which would be the cause of these poor results.
With these two maths, the Intambwe of Burundi have just shown a real facet of Burundian rugby which still requires a new sporting project to revive at the federal level, according to the words of some Burundi sport analysts.
