Rwanda: Nyinawumuntu, new U20 coach
The Rwanda U20 Women’s National Team has a new coach. This is Grace Nyinawumuntu. The technician is appointed at the head of this selection which prepares the second round of the qualifiers for the World Cup of the category.
The Rwandans composed their ticket following the withdrawal of the opponent in the first round, South Sudan. Grace’s first mission will then begin against Ethiopia. The first leg will take place from 23 to 25 September 2021 in Rwanda. While the second leg will be played in Ethiopia from October 7 to 9, 2021.
Grace Nyinawumuntu became the first Rwandan female professional football coach in 2008. This, after obtaining a B-level license certificate in Germany.
She is also the first Rwandan woman to become an international referee.
Consolée Mukashema will be the first assistant. Théogenie Mukamusonera, 2nd assistant. Claude Maniraguha will be for his part, will occupy the post of coach of the goalkeepers.
