We will not see Maguette Diongue again anytime soon on the lawns of Ligue 2. 

The Franco-Senegalese midfielder of SC Bastia is indeed suffering from a total rupture of the cruciate ligaments of the knee. He contracted the injury in training on Saturday.

 And the examinations made today unfortunately revealed this nasty injury which will certainly take him away from the field for six months. 

The 29-year-old had yet started the season very well with the Corsican club.
